Govinda Injured: Due to Revolver Misfire

Govinda stated that the Mumbai Police Protection Branch had sent a bodyguard to stay with her at home at the time of the incident. Govinda was injured and taken to the hospital by the police bodyguard. The incident has been reported to the local police station.

The revolver was loaded with six bullets, one of which misfired, according to the police investigation. When the police compared the license number to the revolver, they were able to confirm the validity of the license. The revolver was quite old and had a 0.32 bore. The accident happened before Govinda could buy a new revolver. A closer inspection revealed that a small portion of the revolver’s lock was also broken.

Govinda was Shot by his Own Revolver

A few hours after being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Govinda sent out a Hindi audio message to his followers. “Hello, this is Govinda,” he said. According to Mumbai Police, the incident occurred at 4:45 a.m. when Govinda’s licensed revolver unintentionally fired as he was putting it back in the cupboard. At the time, he was getting ready to travel to Kolkata.
