Karan Mehra was born in Delhi. He attended Wynberg Allen School, a boarding school in Mussoorie, until the tenth grade. Following that, he pursued further studies in Delhi.

He finished 11th and 12th grades at Delhi Public School. He earned a degree in Advertising and Sales Promotion from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (Delhi University). Karan added Veer to his name based on his grandmother’s instructions. Veer is the name of Karan’s deceased grandfather.
